ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
The role involves administering payroll, supporting the team with ID Passes gathering candidates career history to obtain an airside pass.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for processing internal and external applications through the ID process
• Proactively communicating with internal and external applications to ensure their references are completed
• Collating a credible history check (may include, liaising with applicants to seek further details from the Home Office or government authorities)
• Preparing weekly ID Passes reports
• Proactively highlighting applicants (internal / external) that are due to expire and managing renewals
• Effectively manage all applications from start to finish
• Ensuring a commitment to data accuracy and legal compliance in line with GDPR
• Working with the training team to ensure training is completed or compliance
• Managing timely communication with candidates- whether successful or unsuccessful
• Management of ID Tracker- overseeing process/targets/withdrawals
• Complete administrative daily and monthly payroll reports through internal software
• Liaising with payroll regarding new starters and leavers
• Raise purchase orders for authorisation
• Take notes to an accurate standard within official meetings.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Strong administration experience
• Good customer service skills
• An ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines with limited supervision
• A professional manner and the ability to develop strong working relationships
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good organisational skills and ability to balance conflicting priorities
• Able to use own initiative and prioritise
• A “flexible” can-do attitude and approach
• Confidentiality and the ability to handle sensitive situations
• Strong computer skills across the full range of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel, Word, and the use of mail merge
