As an Angio Staff Nurse in Cardiology and Radiology at Cromwell Hospital, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care across a range of cardiac, vascular, and radiology procedures. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support patients through complex interventions, contribute to service development, and ensure operational excellence.

How you’ll help us make health happen
- Deliver safe and effective care across cardiac, vascular, and radiology interventions, including scrub, circulatory, and recovery roles.
- Support the implementation of standard operating procedures and assist in expanding angiography services.
- Collaborate with the Head of Cardiac Services to maintain KPIs and ensure service goals are met.
- Work closely with the Business Coordinator to optimise scheduling and ensure accurate financial processes.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and professional development.
- Participate in audits, quality assurance, and governance activities to maintain high clinical standards.
- Support junior staff and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment.
Key Skills / Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
- Diploma or Degree in Health Care Studies.
- Basic clinical knowledge and practice of cardiac procedures.
- Exposure to radiology and vascular procedures, with the ability to assist in scrub, circulatory, and recovery roles as needed.
- Recent clinical experience in a cardiology or interventional setting.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including on-call shifts and occasional overtime.
- Comfortable working in high-pressure environments and managing complex patient needs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and clinical systems; audit experience desirable.
