Make a Real Impact as an A Level Maths Tutor.
Are you a passionate educator, making a difference in the lives of students? We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors. You’ll provide personalised, 1:1 support in Maths for A Level students. These in-person sessions in Haringey offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.
- This job is in-person in the Haringey area
- Day(s) and Time(s): Mondays and Fridays / 9am - 10am
- Hour(s): 2 hours per week
- Subject and Level: A Level Maths
- Start date: 1st September 2025
- Contract length: Until June 2026
- Rate of pay: £35 - £37.50 p/h
What You'll Do
- Develop and deliver tuition programmes in small groups or 1:1
- Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level
- Assessing any barriers to student’s learning and working to overcome these
- Monitoring student progress and producing reports
- Creating a positive and supportive learning environment
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you're providing subject tuition in
- Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager
We're looking for someone who has:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics
- 5+ years of tutoring / teaching experience
- An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The right to be self employed in the UK
