Your Role:
As a Looked After Children Social Worker, you will play a key role in ensuring that children in care receive the support and stability they need. You will work closely with children, foster carers, families, and partner agencies to provide high-quality care and create positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake assessments and develop care plans tailored to meet the needs of looked after children.
- Support children and young people in care, ensuring their voices are heard and their best interests are met.
- Work collaboratively with foster carers, birth families, and other professionals to ensure stability and well-being.
- Attend Looked After Children Reviews, Court Hearings, and Multi-Agency Meetings, providing expert recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with statutory guidelines.
