Job Title: Senior Occupational Therapist

Pay Rate: £36.58 per hour
About the Role:
Liquid Personnel is seeking a highly experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join their Adult Social Care team at Walthamstow. This role is suited to a professional with advanced moving and handling expertise and a minimum of three years’ experience in a local authority social services setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct strength-based assessments in line with the Care Act 2014 and other relevant legislation
- Assess individuals in their own homes to maximise independence and safety
- Recommend and coordinate the provision of equipment and structural adaptations
- Collaborate with housing teams, contractors, and community partners
- Manage a varied caseload in accordance with Adult Social Care priorities
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to safeguarding and legal processes
- Engage in ongoing professional development
Essential Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Enhanced DBS check (required prior to start)
- Minimum 3 years post-qualified experience
- Proven experience in social services settings (not just hospital-based roles)
- High-level expertise in moving and handling
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, equipment provision, and adaptations
