Mellon Technologies on behalf of a leading company in the Banking Sector is looking to add an IT Manager to become part of their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor teams comprised of both internal and external IT professionals.
- To be involved in the design, development, and maintenance of numerous critical systems within the company.
- Accountable for making suggestions for improvements and taking personal initiative in adapting to change.
- Engaging with stakeholders from various divisions and departments.
- Work using agile methodologies in collaboration with internal teams to ensure road maps are achieved within agreed time frames.
- Systems issue management and solution.
Requirements
- Working experience and knowledge of Insurance systems.
- At least 5-7 years working experience as a Java Developer.
- Experience designing, building, and testing Java applications.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Proven problem-solving skills, ability to communicate clearly, and collaborate with team members.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
- Excellent proficiency in Greek and English.
- Knowledge/experience in .NET, Informatica, SQL, Reporting Services.
