We currently have an exciting opportunity for Admin Assistant to join our fantastic central team at Orchard House High School. 

We’re looking for:

  • highly organised and motivated Admin Assistant with experience in general clerical, administrative, and financial work.
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling financial records and cash, and will be confident in managing their own workload effectively to meet deadlines and maintain high standards.
  • A key part of this role involves working collaboratively within a school environment, so a good understanding of school structures and a positive, team-focused attitude are essential.

The successful applicant will be self-driven, adaptable, and committed to delivering a high-quality service that meets the evolving demands of a busy school setting. They must show flexibility in responding to new challenges and shifting priorities, while maintaining a strong sense of personal responsibility.

Main purpose of the job:

  • To provide a comprehensive administrative and financial support to the school
  • To provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team
  • To provide administrative support to leaders and teachers in arranging, recording and taking of minutes of Education and Health Care Plan meetings
  • To work collaboratively with all staff and parents in order to support pupil wellbeing.
