We’re currently looking for a highly organised and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our friendly and dynamic team.

This is a permanent full time post working 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days. The starting salary is £21,662 and the full time equivalent is £25,185 Grade 3.

Camberwell Park is a vibrant and welcoming specialist primary school in North Manchester, providing education and support for pupils aged 3–11 with a range of complex needs. Our dedicated staff work closely with families to ensure every child receives personalised support and is given every opportunity to achieve their goals.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing efficient and effective administrative and financial support across the school
  • Supporting the Senior Leadership Team, teachers, and other colleagues with daily administrative tasks
  • Taking a key role in the organisation of Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) meetings, including preparing agendas and accurate minute-taking
  • Working closely with pupils, staff, parents, and external visitors to ensure a smooth and welcoming school environment
  • Helping maintain accurate pupil data, school records, and ensuring key communication processes are in place
  • Supporting the wellbeing of pupils through front-of-house duties and basic first aid

Who we’re looking for:

  • Someone with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both in person and in writing
  • Confident using ICT systems including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Able to manage competing priorities and use initiative
  • A collaborative team player who shares our values and commitment to inclusive education
  • Previous experience in a school or educational setting is desirable, but not essential
