HR Administrator

Location: Southampton (occasional travel across Hampshire, Dorset, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Somerset where required)

Employment: Full-time

Hybrid: Minimum of 50% working hours to be spent in the office

Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £24,000 – £26,000 per annum, depending upon experience

About the role

PBS4 is looking for a highly motivated HR Administrator who wants to make this role their own, while delivering excellent support to the HR Team and the wider business. Previous experience working in Human Resources and a Level 3 qualification is desirable, however support may be provided to achieve this if you have a long-term interest in working in this field. You will need to be an effective and engaging communicator who is able to liaise with all levels of internal and external stakeholders. Your approach will need to be professional and well organised and be able to multitask when under pressure. Your IT skills will need to be of a high level, along with your written and verbal English. PBS4 is looking for someone who enjoys getting involved but can also concentrate on their own tasks and priorities. As PBS4 is an organisation who works with people with learning disabilities, the people PBS4 support do visit the office, an understanding of learning disabilities would be beneficial but full training will be provided.

Naturally whilst this is an administrative post, you will be handling highly confidential data and therefore you must be able to remain confidential at all times within your role and observe GDPR surrounding all data with which you will have access to.

Your Duties

• Support the HR Business Partner and wider HR team with administration duties

• Maintain accurate employee records and data

• Completion of HR processes and administration

• Change of address and personal details and changes to employment contracts

• Update employee information using the internal HR system

• Liaise with others where necessary via email and on the telephone

• Process employee data like starters, leavers, and remuneration/benefits

• Update employee records with new hire information

• Supporting other areas of the business; provide support with tasks and projects as and when needed.
