Security officer

About the role

Title – Security officer 

Pay Rate – £12.21

Location – Braintree Village 

Shift Timings – Full time, must be fully flexible and able to work weekends 

This contract will end the start of January!

You will be working in a well-known shopping village, where you will be responsible for the safety and the security of the people and assets.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the shopping outlet 
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the shopping outlet 
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.
• Communicating with the public 
• Complete incident reports 

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role, would an advantage
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
