Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Finance Administrator on a fixed term basis for between 3-6 months to join our Property Management Team, based out of our Gloucester office. The main purpose of this role is to improve client records ensuring they are complete and accurate in preparation for transitioning to a new client management system.

 

The role requires someone with exceptional administration skills who is at ease talking to clients, third party suppliers and people at all levels within our organisation.  They must be able to demonstrate an understanding of commercial property management.  Knowledge of property management accounting is preferable. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgement is essential.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Good standard of education including GCSE in English and Maths at grade C or above, or equivalent.
  • Experience of dealing financial processes/administration
  • Experience of using financial and administrative systems
  • Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with both colleagues and clients
  • The ability to work in an organised and methodical fashion, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Able to demonstrate analytical skills and problem solving
  • The ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Reliable and committed
  • Willingness to take on tasks and resolve issues
  • Assertive, persuasive with a high energy level

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of client, tenant and creditor records
  • Reconciliation of client accounts
  • Service charge billing
  • Liaising with accounts payable teams for utility suppliers, insurance brokers and maintenance contractors
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Ensuring lease records and rent reviews are up to date and completed on time
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant landlord and tenancy legislation and regulations
  • Anti-money laundering checks for clients
  • Ad-hoc duties as required to support the Property Management team accountant
