Job Title: Social Worker – Preparing for Adulthood
Location: Rotherham (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: £32 per hour
About the Role:
Liquid Personnel is recruiting a passionate Social Worker to join the Preparing for Adulthood Team in Rotherham, supporting young people as they transition into adult services. This is a rewarding opportunity to empower independence and shape brighter futures through collaborative, person-centered care.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Preparing for Adulthood (PFA) Social Worker
- Requires experience working with young adults in transition or leaving care
- Must have conducted focused reviews and managed direct payments
- Strong knowledge of Care Act assessments, MCA, and Best Interests decisions essential
- Familiarity with CHC checklists and 3 days per week in-borough (office/visits) mandatory

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
