Job Title: Social Worker – Children & Families

Pay Rate: £25.79 per hour
Job Description:
Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join its client’s Children & Families team based in Wakefield.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will,
- Manage a caseload involving complex and high-risk cases, including Child Protection, Child in Need, and Looked After Children.
- Conduct assessments and create care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Coordinate external support within budget limits.
- Collaborate with services to optimise resource use.
- Provide support and advice to ensure positive outcomes.
- Safeguard children at immediate risk and take necessary protective actions.
- Participate in duty rotations and respond to crises.
- Mentor and support new social workers and students.
- Make ‘best interest’ decisions, including liberty protection assessments and court report preparation.
Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have:
• Social Work England registration
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• A full UK driving licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
