Job Title: Senior Social Worker – Adult Locality Safeguarding
Location: Barnsley (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: £35 per hour
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting a Senior Social Worker to join its client’s Adult Locality Safeguarding team based in Barnsley.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Lead safeguarding enquiries for adults at risk of abuse, neglect, or exploitation
- Collaborate with partner agencies including police, health, and housing professionals
- Apply legal frameworks including the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act (MCA), Making Safeguarding Personal (MSP), and the Human Rights Act
- Operate proficiently within the Liquid Logic case management system
- Work office-based three days per week, primarily at Goldthorpe, with travel to Barnsley centre

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
