Salary: From £50,200pa (Dependant on location and experience)

Location: Salford or Staines
Contract type: 12 month Fixed Term Contract
Shift pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities
As a Policy Manager, you’ll:
- Lead the development and implementation of medical policies that balance clinical needs with commercial priorities.
- Work closely with clinical, financial, and marketing teams to gather insights and data that inform policy decisions.
- Analyse complex information and turn it into clear, actionable policy recommendations.
- Present your recommendations in a structured, engaging way to senior stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for improvement through feedback, complaints, and changes in healthcare trends.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the business to ensure policies are applied consistently and effectively.
- Support the creation of new codes and pricing structures in line with policy changes.
- Provide guidance and training to colleagues on policy matters.
- Help ensure our policies reflect our commitment to fairness, transparency, and excellent customer care.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who’s curious, analytical, and passionate about making a difference in healthcare. You’ll need:
- A-levels in biomedical, scientific or mathematical subjects – or equivalent experience.
- Experience in policy development, medical assessment or writing is a plus, but not essential.
- A good understanding of healthcare and the ability to interpret clinical information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – including root cause analysis.
- Confidence in working with data and presenting insights to different audiences.
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonal.
- The ability to manage your own workload and work well with others.
- A flexible, proactive approach and a willingness to adapt to change.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
